Welcome to Princeton Park Homes!
Located on Chicago’s south side, Princeton Park Homes, a privately owned rental town home community, has been “home” to generations of Chicago families since 1944. The town homes are set on an 80 acre “green space” site of spacious landscaped grounds, curved, tree-lined streets and cul de sacs, featuring one of the City’s largest displays of flowering crab trees along with open fields and a centrally located “campus park” that includes a basketball court, softball field, jogging path, tot lot, etc. Residents have convenient access to the nearby Dan Ryan Expressway (I-94), CTA and “El” stops. Mall and grocery shopping and a Cineplex are within a mile of the location. Public and private elementary schools and several churches are located within or adjacent to the complex. The facility also offers ample parking.
The 2-3 bedroom town homes include private front and rear entrances, basements with hook–ups for washers/dryers; forced-air gas heat (tenant pays gas/electric), modern kitchens and a full bath. Cable and satellite service is available. 2014 rents start at $811/month. Visit our “History” and “Inquiries” pages for more info.
On the third Saturday of each September, since 1969, Princeton Park Homes holds its “Annual Lawn and Garden Contest Awards Banquet” where typically over 360 participating residents are awarded bonds and gifts in recognition of their community beautification effort. The floral displays created by each resident go hand-in-hand with the formal parkway gardens (see photos) maintained by management agency (Preston A. Higgins & Company) to spread the floral beauty throughout the complex. On the second Saturday of each August, the residents host the Annual Princeton Park Homes Reunion Picnic where past and present residents gather for an afternoon of food, fun, music and renewed acquaintance. The community also has a network of block clubs, and an active C.A.P.S organization.
